The new third edition of World English makes big ideas from TED accessible for lower level learners through videos with TED speakers that were created for World English, like this one from Taiye Selasi...

So the question "Where are you from?" is very difficult to answer. Maybe a better question is "Where are you a local?" It's better because it's about me, a person.

Each unit from World English features a National Geographic photograph for great conversation about the unit topic.

A motivating two-page lesson structure that starts with a clear communicative goal... and ends with a 'Goal Check' speaking activity that asks the learner to apply that goal.

New 'My World' sections throughout the unit asks students to make connections between the unit topic and their own lives.

Now a full two pages, the optional 'Video Journal' lesson features video from either TED or National Geographic and is supported by listening comprehension and communication activities.

World English is fully supported by the latest technology for teaching and learning.
